NinetoNine started with a simple observation: something as routine as getting your car cleaned had become unnecessarily difficult.

For most residents, getting a car washed meant depending on domestic help, security staff, local car washers, or making arrangements every morning. The quality was inconsistent, the availability was unpredictable, and there was very little accountability. Yet, for something that people needed almost every day, there was no simple, reliable solution built around the way apartment communities actually live.

We felt there had to be a better way.

That thought led to the beginning of NinetoNine.

We set out to build a car-cleaning service specifically designed for residential communities — one that residents could depend on every morning without having to worry about who would show up, whether the car would be cleaned properly, or whether they would have to coordinate with someone every day.

But we quickly realised that the real challenge wasn't just washing cars. It was building a system that could deliver consistency at scale.

So we focused on the fundamentals: trained and accountable washers, structured allocations, clear processes, daily supervision, and a strong focus on execution. Our objective was simple — when a resident signs up with NinetoNine, they should know that their car will be taken care of every morning, without the daily hassle.

What started as a small idea has gradually grown into a service used by residents across communities, with a growing team of washers and an increasingly structured operating model.
